Javaman
Hi I have a Crane 797 that is giving me an error on tray A which is a chip tray so the adjacent motors are coupled. I wasn’t getting this error moments before i entered the supervisor mode to check a temperature on the food unit below so i may have changed something inadvertantly to cause the entire tray to stop working.? The manual says the motors may not be “homed” or a coupling error exists or motor jammed? What does not not homed mean? I belive the coupling for a chip tray should be +.A.+.A.+.A.+.A.+.A error is ERR A Javaman
AngryChris
That error usually means the A tray is unlatched and/or not making contact. Usually, you just need to push the tray in OR check the connection in the back.
Snickers
Home position of a motor can usually be seen visually when the degree of the spiral looks different than the others. When vending products and testing a motor it should stop the motor back to its "home" position. Homing is the act of trying to find it's stopping or "home" position.
