MNvending
I'm curious to hear from people who are currently operating any micro markets. I'm gonna be moving into them and I was wondering about licensing. My county says that I need to be a "Certified Food Manager" in order to start placing them. Did any of you have to get that license, or any other license in order to start doing micro markets?
AngryChris
Every municipality decides what it wants. Around here, I really just need licenses for every machine that will store food, in addition to a facility where the food will be refrigerated/frozen (must be a commercial facility here.. even a storage unit with electricity and a cooler). Your best bet is to ask someone from your area that deals with it.
Poplady1
Let us know where you are located and what you find out? I haven't run across that in California. They have a vendors license which you can include some food handling for an additional fee.
