Need to keep door shut on a vending machine when there's no vend.

Any way to have the door flap completly shut unless an item drops from the coil? I can't seem to find a way to google for such a device that does it.

I presume that you are trying to keep people from pilfering from your bottom shelves through the delivery bin.  There is supposed to be an anti-theft door integrated into the front delivery door which you are probably missing or is just not working correctly.  What model of machine do you have?
