Buttons inop

Just got an FSI MODEL 3040. Has power, but does not vend when I push any of the buttons. Any ideas?

We need more info. What does the display say when pushing a button? Will the buttons vend if you put in test mode?

Page 8 tells you to press the mode button on the logic board 4 times so that dtA is on the display.  Then press any selection button to test that circuit and motor.  If there is an error you will see a code on the display in the chart above.  If it vends a can then you can test another column.

This, of course, assumes that your display works, the coin mech works, etc.  If it doesn't then you might be missing 24v to the logic board or another issue is present such as a bad logic board. Normal troubleshooting is needed such as visual and voltmeter testing.

Want to thank both of you that responded to my request.  I went in to test mode and tested the motors all of which are working. Something must have reset, because now everything is working perfectly!
