AZVendor
I suppose this is a question, not you telling us what you would do differently? What I would do differently was: too many things to list. It's all based on fate and how you react to it for the most part. Vending isn't a windfall type of business so there isn't enough money to live on AND to make expensive improvements too. When you realize you should have done something differently it's often too late to implement it. The business is so different now it's actually scary to see people getting into it. I would expect anyone beginning in vending since 2018, heck even 2010, would have the lowest chance of success since the 1980s. But that was my heyday and vending life was much simpler then.
tblake05
I think I would have educated myself on the machines we bought from our initial Investment. They were pretty old, beat up, neglected, and a few needed to be replaced within a year of purchase. I prob paid too much for them too. If only I knew about MDB. But it’s water under the bridge.

Zachsea
I would have definitely done extensive homework on equipment BEFORE I BUY IT! Also there is a psychological side to starting a business that I would have done differently. Instead of taking everyones negative comments about starting your own business and going your own road to heart, let it go in one ear and out the other. Started our route in 2009 right when things didn’t look promising economically and everybody wanted to throw in their two cents. Be hardheaded and believe you can make it happen no matter what anyone may say!
