OVend Posted March 22 Share Posted March 22 Crane 187 Keeps getting coin jams every few weeks. Already tried swapping out 3 known good coin mechs that were not jamming in other machines. I think its the coin chute itself. I notice the ramp to insert coins in more level than downhill, allowing a coin to "sit" in the insert slot. My guess is that this may be happening and then someone puts a 2nd coin in at the same time, causing them to jam when they go into the coin mech at the same time? I tried adjusting the wing nuts already on the plastic coin chute. I have been unable to recreate the issue when testing, its a high volume account and only happens once every few weeks or so.
