AP113 bill validator upgrade question

Recommended Posts

I have an AP113 that has a Coinco validator that’s giving me a fit. I want to upgrade it to a MEI but not sure which way to go. Apparently this machine will take both 24 and 110 volt equipment. So need recommendations on which is the best or easiest way to go. Currently has a BA32SA which says it’s 24v. Seems odd to me for as old as the machine is. IMG_2024-04-12-105751.jpg.2fd0b18f820d08bb973bc386044f4e88.jpgIMG_2024-04-12-105926.jpg.767d746b56d7ba29b1f3c7dfde1f4dcf.jpg

Go with the 24VAC VN2502  and the proper harness to interface to the board. In the future, you can convert it to MDB with just a harness change. A 110VAC is already obsolete

Good idea. I was thinking of an InOne board upgrade down the road so that would work good. Hopefully it’s got an MDB changer.
