Angelo Giacobazzi
Check for bad ground in gfci outlet? I used a multi meter to check the outlet & got 122 volts.
AZVendor
Did you get 122 from one slot to the ground pin and zero from the other slot to the ground pin? 122 is a bit on the high side, by the way, but the machine should be able to handle it.
Angelo Giacobazzi
No I got it from the gfci outlet. Next time measure the vending machine ground pin?
AZVendor
Put up a photo of the "gfci outlet" because it's unusual for an outlet to have a gfci unless it's in the breaker box. If you also have a gfci on your power cord then that could be your issue. More than one gfci on a circuit is counter-productive and leads to problems. Angelo Giacobazzi
I won’t let me put a photo in here since it’s more than 2.1 mb. Is there way I can send it another form?
AZVendor
Email it to me at rbepic4gATgmailDOTcom.
Angelo Giacobazzi
I sent it to you. Let me know if you got it. Thanks
AZVendor
I got the pics. 5 x for the GFCI outlet LOL. What you have is a short extension cord with a GFCI in it, plugged into the wall that is a GFCI outlet. That is a no-no so you need to move your machine closer to the outlet and just use your power cord or get a short extension without a GFCI in it. GFCIs are a PITA on vending machines but a double will cause problems. In 35 years I only ever ran across a machine that would shock anyone one time and that was just a tickle when opening the door of an outdoor Coke machine. Angelo Giacobazzi
Thanks for the help sorry it wouldn’t sent the picture over & then it sent all at once. I’ll get a short extension cord thanks.
Angelo Giacobazzi
This has worked with the short extension cord but now it is beginning to have the same issue. Not sure if it is the control board or what. I’ll try to get a video of it malfunctioning
Vendo Mike
Is there any option to move the machine closer to a non-GFCI outlet? Standard 15 amp plug?
Angelo Giacobazzi
No it’s a water park so all gfci outlet. Worked when I open up the machine quarters came out. I will send the message that came up now sure if quarters are getting stuck now.
AZVendor
You opened the door and the machine began paying out quarters?
Angelo Giacobazzi
Yes quarters came out.
Angelo Giacobazzi
I realized the machine will freeze when the return change button is hit. Wonder how to fix that if it needs to relubricated.
AZVendor
That could just be a bad coin mech. Whether the coin return works or not the machine won't glitch just for that reason.
Vendo Mike
A failing dispense solenoid on your coin mech could absolutely cause this sort of issue. If it shorting or the solenoid coil is swelling around the post causing higher current draw. You can go to CPO ( coin payout) in your programming and dispense each denomination to possibly narrow which tube is having trouble.
