Hi Everyone,

What I mean is, name your most successful type of account, ie. gas station, tire store, etc. You don't have to list the account name just the type of account. I thought it would be interesting, fun and educational to build a data base for VENDiscuss to use as a reference for newbie's as well as the more advanced members.

You can list more than one type if you have others. Try to stick to best of the best!

I was thinking that pizza places would be a good location also. What have you found to be good candy choices for them? I was thinking of maybe Polar Mints, mint chicle gum, jawbreaker/gumballs.

Well, I don't have that many machines, but with the machines I have checked so far, my best locations are a Pizza &Wings restaurant using a Dentyne Ice machine, and factory breakroom, using a triple-vend.

Here on the West Coast they don't make pizza like the East coast so I don't know how anyone eats pizza here. I can say this since I just moved here from Long Island, NY.

Anyway, the pizza places that do really well here are the ones that have arcade games, pool tables, air hockey tables, etc. These places are used for pizza parties. I have one of them and it is very, very good.(over $100/month). I have 2 triple head machines: 1 with all toy capules and the other with M&I, Gum Balls & Runts.

I have tried to place machines in regular pizza places, (that only sell pizza) and was not to successful.

Wow! Rockville Centre. That's like living in the city now! So much traffic and lots of people. I would think it is different in Kansas.

Truck stops. I bet that's a real good one. I will have to look around for a few of them.

I was in Rockville Centre this past May.  You are right, the traffic is crazy.  But the traffic is crazy all over the Island.  Getting from Kennedy airport to RVC (just about 10 miles) takes about 45 minutes if the traffic is moving.

Another good spot for a rack of machines is in a bowling alley.

Kansas is nothing like Long Island.  In fact, there are more people living on Long Island then there is in the entire state of Kansas.  L.I. is not that big, you can fit a whole bunch of Long Islands inside the state of Kansas.

Stopped in tonight to check them before I serviced them on Monday.  I had a few heads half empty (at .50 and .75 a vend...)

I would have to say restaurant as well, dosent really matter what kind, chinese, mexican, pizza etc., they all seem to do good for me.

This is great information. It really helps me to focus on some locations that I have over looked. Hopefully, it will help others that stop by this post.

Restrauants & Pizza Places seem to be the places to get in.

Steve, do you think we could add this to the polling section and setup a list of locations. The rest of the members could just click on their "BEST" to vote.

My best location is a Paper Mill, weekly average is around $1,800.

Yes 1,800 per week, the company has 3 shifts of about 150 people and I have machines located in 4 areas of the plant.

OMG no,  It is a full vending machine account, food machines, snacks, soda, even an ice cream machine.

My highest bulk machine does about 75 a month..lol  not even close to the same revenue.

I'm sorry, I should have made my question about bulk vending machines clearer. I can see how you do so well. What a difference. I couple of those factories and you've got it made. It would take 50 candy machines to do that kind of volume.

If I could get $1,800 a week per location for bulk vending I could  be richer then Bill Gates..lol  Imagine a 500 machine route would generate almost a million dollars a week.
