Christine
CROSS COUNTRY PLACEMENTS No Upfront Fees ! No Deposits ! We are a new and upcoming locating service,we have studied this business for years! and we have learned one of the best ways to run this business is do the work first. We are going to give you what you want for a competitive price!! we will find locations in the zips or towns you provide, we will give you realistic locations and honor our guarantees. We feel we can cut alot of problems by just doing the work first! but vendors beware.. if we give locations and you don`t pay .. we will come after you. There is only 1 other locator who does work first .. and it works .So we are giving vendors a second company at a little cheaper cost and longer guarantee ** We work under the following terms No min for locations Must place in 2 days Must pay day of placement Must sign a agreement ** Prices Single - $37 Double - $40 Triple - $45 Guarantee 120 day guarantee ** ALL TRANSACTIONS AND PAYMENTS ARE DONE VIA PAYPAL & EMAIL. T BIRD
Because of the holiday weekend madness etc, I will have my 3 locations by 1/4/08. I hope this works out well because I really want to start to expand the business weekly starting the first week in January.

candyman007
Oh dear. Let me tell you, I like Christines spirit about start her own locating firm with 0 deposits and a 120 day warranty for free but good luck man. That is a very difficult business to run. I charge up front but it's only $32 but you don't get any warranty. for $37 you can get a warranty and for $42 you get a 2 year warranty. check out my blog at http://bulkspots.blogspot.com It's interesting how a bulk locating firm runs. quartermaine
rob, i dont quite understand why no warranty for your 32$ locations? everyone else provides a warranty for the same price point. ethical provides one for their 30$ location. why should i spend 2$ more for your location and get no warranty? im just asking. candyman007
I hate oposition, why did you have to say anything! Just kidding, haha. Hey, thanks for the input. Ok. I will look into ethical locators and see how their warranty works. I have actually talked to the owner on the phone once before, nice guy. One thing that differentiates me (and you tell me if it's worth $2) is the relative speed at which I find locations. Granted I have hit some rough areas with customers where there are a limited supply of businesses, but in general we are fast. I am accustomed to waiting 2-3 days for 1 location with other locators. I don't work that way. But, you have a very valid point. I'm going to check out their $30 option and see if I just can't beat it! Thanks a lot for the heads up. candyman007
I've been looking on the forum and can't find what type of warranty they offer. I will have to give them a call tomorrow unless you can fill me in. Rob http://bulkspots.blogspot.com
quartermaine
rob, im not sure where ethical posted their warranty info on the site but i can paraphrase from the information he sent me. keep in mind, i dont know how current this is. please confirm this with him... 90 day kick out guarantee and a 1 year "any reason" guarantee for 50% cost. sorry christine for hijacking your thread. this will be my last post here. frntrange
Well, I signed up with Christine at Cross Country Placement Services on Jan 16th for one triple head (1800V). She responded at first that they had a two machine minimum. I pointed out that her ad on here said no machine minimums, and that I had even copied her ad in the initial email. Christine then agreed to do the job for one machine, and said it would be a week or less. Since then the only communication I received was "Nothing yet , we have some leads for next week!" [line] She sent the exact same message to another member here on this board. So, two full weeks, no production of any kind. My number one concern, beyond the fact that two weeks have been wasted, is the warranty is only as good as the company. If they won't do any real communication, and won't find a placement for a machine for two plus weeks, how will they do when a warranty replacement is required?
