$24.50 in sales for Almonds & Trail Mix.

$25 in sales for M&I, Skittles, and Hot Tamales.

--------

$49.50 in 13 days

Not too bad for my first location.  And my M&I are apparently jammed.  There was a note (which I mostly expected) on the front of the globe that said it's "Out of Order".  Wonderful.

Anyway, I'm happy.  :)

I don’t know if you can remove a canister on the high end machines, but with a Vendstar, I just remove the canister, place a lid on it and shake it vigorously.  Mike & Ikes stick together in hot environments.  And sometimes they may stick together if they go a long time in between vends.  They are still my top seller.

Yes, you can take the hopper and globe off and shake it.  I would recommend dumping them in a container, give them a shot of Pam cooking spray, stir them up, and dump them back in the globe.

Just picked up 3 bags of Dark Chocolate M&M's from Sam's.  We'll see how those do.  The women at this location seemed to be kinda crazy about bulk vending so I figure I'll try to appeal to them a little more.

  • 1 month later...

Here's some photos.  Yes, I take photos of money.  I'm strange like that.

Looks like they really like the Dark Chocolate M&M's.  That was a good tip from the GM.

The healthy stuff isn't moving nearly as well as I'd like.

I love the color of those machines!  Might have something to do with my favorite color being blue, but that color blue on those machines are Da Bomb Digity!!!

If you like those machines, you'll like these even more.  These are my favorite.

Collection for my 1 rack location in August, exactly 30 days after my last collection, was $82.50.  Not nearly as good as my first month.

I think I made a comment like that before.  I've got 5-ways like you, but admittedly with toys, that do about the same amount in sales.

So here's the report for my Chinese food restaurant service today.

Dubble Bubble Assortment: $19.00

Sea Mania: $45.50

----------------------------

Total: $64.50

The Sea Mania head was placed 07/01, and the Dubble Bubble head was added on 07/16.  When I added the Dubble Bubble machine, the Sea Mania machine had $9 in it.

I took the machines off location for an hour or so to change the coin mechanism to a .50 unit, and add the proper .50 signage.  Unsticking my existing Sea Mania signage proved more of a challenge than I had anticipated.  FYI, don't use more than 2 small double sided tape tabs when you're putting your laminated signage inside your globe... otherwise it will be difficult to get out if you need to adjust the globe pricing sticker.

Sea Mania product cost was $18.20, and Dubble Bubble product cost was $1.52.  After these calculations, the location's 40% take was $17.91.  Mine was $46.59.  She ended up writing me a check for that amount because she really really wanted the quarters for change.  Whatever floats her boat...

Here's what the product levels were at:

Here's what was in the coin trays.  Left is Dubble Bubble, Right is Sea Mania:

This is what 258 little hands do to your machines:

Thanks man :)  Looking forward to rapid growth.  Seeing progress gives me a great feeling.

Oh, and I think I scored two new locations today.  A smog shop, and a hair salon.

I've got an appointment to meet with the smog shop owner to "check out his break room" on Weds, and while I didn't get a "yes" out of the salon owner... I'm positive it will be one after I dazzle her with my prompt mailing of product literature and a follow up call.
