With the current budget problems across the country it would not surprise me to see more of this, and not only with RedBox, but with all vending and coin-op equipment

I am surprised it took them this long to figure it out.$100 is triple what we pay for video games in Illinois.

MA requires licensing for "food type vending machines" already. Granted the last time I checked it was only $3.00 per machine, not the $100.00 that they are looking to get from Redbox. The only surprise to me is that it took our government so long to catch up to them.
