HHV
Has anyone had any success using the light up displays--the ones that have blinking lights around perimeter of the display?
musser
I have a bunch of them I dint use anymore, got tired of putting batteries in. I think they worked and helped sales
ReillyNoFun
I got the email from allstar about these being on sale too. Almost bought one when I put in an order a few weeks ago, glad I held off - might go for it now and see what happens.
musser
How much do they want for them?
ReillyNoFun
They're on sale for 50% off of $9. However - shipping is $18 to send a single one. Too rich for my blood...
HHV
I would think it would help attract the kids and increase sales. They claim it can increase sales by 20%. Musser can you vouch for that?
redmms250713
for those that have them, how long do the battery's last?

havending
Cheap as led strip lights are you may be able to dress a rack up using them.
musser
The flashing displays are like anything else new, sales pick up and then go back to where they were. I really didn't study the kick that much battery life wasn't that good so I just pulled them. Really good batteries lasted a couple of months batteries you could actually afford maybe a month. I don't think the kick justified the cost.
BouncyBalls
I have one of those displays, with 2 Duracell "D" battery's I think I probably got 3 months out of them. I don't think the pain would be worth the gain.

sherlock
The key phrase on the site states "batteries will last up to one year". That's the old UP TO verbiage we see on ads all the time. It's the way advertisers hype a product without really making any claim at all. I have never used these lights. And thanks to previous posts above, I never will. Real-world experience from members here are putting the battery life at a SMALL fraction of the website's claims. And "D" batteries are expensive.
