  1. Whenever I put coins in, it registers for a brief moment, then disappears. If I put another quarter in, it says the balance is .25, then disappears. If I’m fast enough, I can put enough money in and it will vend.
  2. Hi I bought a royal 660-9 and need to vend water bottles are there any bottles people know to work in this machine that I could buy from sams club or a place like that . thank you
  3. i sent up the machine, the cans vend with no issues, but the 16.9oz poland spring bottles are not coming out, machine says "sold out" if i push the bottles, they will come out, also if i dont push, and they do come out, 1 line will dispense 2 or more bottles, i am trying to figure out if i missed something in the settings, i would assume that the 16.9oz would fall into the 16oz category on the setup, so why are they not vending? any help would be appreciated.
  4. First of all just want to acknowledge how great this site is. Has helped me on my journey of vending with my first questions regarding vending machines at age 17 up until now at 24. Would love to see this as an app somehow. Really think it would help the future generations of vending and make it easier to navigate with mobile devices. I come to ask a few questions though. I’ve grown a small vending route alongside different jobs that I’ve worked the past few years but now I’m having trouble keeping up with everything smoothly while I still keep up working with my other business. So nonetheless I need to clean things up in order to help my route run smoother with less stress. Question 1: Labeling keys? I’m getting confused with all these keys. I have 4 locations with snack and soda machines in both and I’m working on a 5th location. How can I label the keys/ tell them apart?? Question 2: Hand truck? What should I use to bring snacks and drinks inside and out? I usually just carry things in and out but I feel like it makes the route run longer and me more tired. I need something to make this part simpler. Question 3: Inventory tracking?? How can I keep track of vends with locations that don’t have cc readers?? I’m never sure what products are moving and how fast, so I usually just bring everything. Is there a device or software that can help me know how much of what to bring and how often? Question 4: Route runner? Ideally I want this route to be sufficient enough to have someone stock the machines for me and I be able to just service/ maintenance them when need be. How does that work? Has anyone hired someone? Did you trust them to deliver all cash or did you pickup cash separately? Please feel free to answer all of the questions or only specific parts if you’d like. I appreciate all of you guys responses and help. This community never lets be down. And hopefully this will help someone else that comes along.
  5. Hi everyone! I’m new to the vending world and I’ve hit the ground running after months of saving and research. The first machine I purchased was a Royal GII (RVCC 390-9). The bill validator was bad so I had it replaced by a vending machine mechanic I met at a vendor warehouse. He replaced the coinco with a Mars/mei and showed me the basic functions of the machine. My machine has been on location for a little over a week and it’s doing well. But I have a few drinks that are not selling at all and I would like to replace them. The only issue is that I as far as I know my machine only takes 12 oz. cans. The employees where the machine is located have asked for 3 replacements: Yoo-hoo, energy drinks and water (still). I don’t mind making the changes because I can put the products in another machine, but I cannot find their requests in a form that would fit my Royal GII. Any insight, advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks current drinks in the machine are: Coke, Sprite, Diet Coke, Gingerale, Dr. Pepper, Coke Zero, Orange Fanta, Mountain Dew and Root Beer
  6. Good morning guys. I recently purchased an RVV 500 glass front beverage machine and yesterday I went to service the machine and it said out of service. When I checked the error codes it said vend mechanism and then it said "Home Sensor". A buddy of mine told me to wipe down some sensors(which I had no idea were there). The cup began moving a little bit more than prior to the wipe but still not fully functional and the error codes are still there. Any help on how to resolve this problem? I'm fairly new to the business so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
