AZVendor
Keep in mind that we will not know the actual requirements of disclosure, whether calorie, nutrition or both, until the FDA releases its final ruling. The most concise way to display the information would be with a device like the MIND from Vendors Exchange which can have the information downloaded to it and is mounted to the machine door for display to the customer. I would imagine this can be done with a USB stick and there may not be any monthly fees with the device. You can bet there will be a run on those devices if we get close to a ruling. beejaykc aka Munch A Bunch
Do you suppose you could install one MIND screen per location? Say.....for side to side machines? That would rock! I'd do that today for a number of reasons, not just calorie info. I don't know why that wouldn't suffice.
AZVendor
I would think you could install one per bank of machines, but again, it will depend on how the FDA ruling comes down. You should check with the NAMA website for updates as they will be the ones monitoring it for their members.
