On the Full Line side, IF the total revenues are correct, AND your estimates for the idle equipment are correct that yields a monthly gross of $4,800.00 + By the time you pay for gas, wear and tear on the vehicle (carrying that kind of weight is very hard on the suspension and tires), throw out some damaged product and stales, repair the occasional DBV or mech and pay your taxes, your realistically looking at $1,200-1,500 to take home, plus what you make on the bulk. TKK
Well the machines are already placed. She pays only about 20 a month of comission in any location. Also the apartments are 3 miles from home and the uhauls about 10 miles and one 8 miles away.

cashman
Make sure she owns them and not third party machines, also if she is moving that kind of kills any warranty she is offering because who knows if you'll be able the even find her, if the deal is as good as it sounds great ! Just do your homework . Good luck.
dogcow
the deal smells like bulls**t i would run far away, there is no way those kind of accts are making that money. go look at the thread about storage places and see what people say they make...if you have one making $100 a week i'd be shocked, if you had one making $400 a week, i would not believe it. also if she is moving how is she gonna fix the machines for you, warantee the income,etc... also what kind of machines make/model/type and condition. do you have pictures of them are you sure she OWNS all the equipment? also i am no tax expert but a w2 is income that is paid to you by somebody else like a job if you have your own business you fill out a schedule c if its a very low income apt place, maybe but $400/wk sounds way too high for a 200unit place...would be great if RJT could chime in here as he has some experience with low income apartment vending. there is a very very big laundromat (4200 sqft over 200 washer/dryers) i have as an acct (cranes, not drink/snack) now their drink vending does $300 a week, because you can't easily leave. with an apt laundry room you put the laundry in and go home and come back when it's done. its not a captive audience. from what i understand low income places can do well, because a lot of people don't drive. however your risk of vandalism is extremely high, the places RJT described the machines were fortified with expanded aluminum behind the glass, and also placed in a locked cage. dogcow
also want to mention the right way to verify income is using tax returns and meter readings. just cause you saw her pull a stack of money out of the machine means nothing,i could go in beforehand and put $300 in the stacker all the equipment should have vend meters verify it over the course of a few weeks
TKK
Thanx for the advise. The apartments are low income. The machines vary for example in tue aprtments its an older 7up machine and snack machine. But in uhaul she has a glass front machine and way nicer ones. Oll post piks. Another thing is shes moving in 9 months. And she said shell give me a guarantee that if the machines dong make what she states she will buy them bac at what i paid.o

dogcow
$400 for a machine is about the right price for a single price can machine, $2800 is a little high for a drop bottle machine i can buy them down here in FL for a grand to 1500 personally i wouldnt mess around with those glass front machines they require too much product and maintenence unless you have to , to get the account. i would really verify hard that its making what she says it is before buying into it. you need exact make/model #s to verify the price is right again if the apt place is low income i would be very concerned about vanadalism is there a camera pointed at the machine at least? TKK
ok lets say i go for it....and i give her the $8,000 i will have 10 machines in locations. now if it doesnt make what she states she said shed take them back shes putting it on paper, which yeah the hastle of doing it would suck. but even $8000 for 10 machines with locations cant be too bad right? even if they all sucked and made $300 a month thats still $3,000 a month gross like $2,000 net. i could pay off in 4 months. if it makes what she says then id pay it in two months. the one with poor income has not the nicest machines and she said because theyve tagged hers before, and kids put gum on it etc so its an older one but looks solid. doesntr have a camera do u guys think i can put a fake camera on there and put something saying smile ur being watched? dogcow
why dont you ask her to finance, if she is so confident about the revenues why does she want the money up front.
