mission vending
if a person under 18 gets sued, then are the parents also responsible for any damages? I think that whoever is legally responsible for the minor would being ultimately the one getting sued in a civil matter. I'm sure there are exceptions if the kid is near 18 but under 18 generally cannot legally enter into contracts etc.

Your parents would be the ones to incur any damages. I am 16 and know a kid who is 14, 13 at the time who got in trouble for hacking the school district computers. His parents were held responsible, but of course they hired a great lawyer who got them out of it.
