sherlock
Get a new globe. I had a couple of A&A PO89's with this problem. When I factored in the cost of the headlight restorer, plus factored in the time and elbow grease required to use the restorer, AND took into account that the restorer was not 100% guaranteed to work, spending the small amount for new globes just made more sense. sherlock
What kind of machine is it? You may be able to find a used globe to replace the cloudy one for a fraction of the cost of a new globe.
