allen watson
What do you think is an average percentage of commissions paid. Seems like most of mine are 10% and some as high as 15%. I'm just asking because while I was visiting family in Rochester, MN., I was told by an operator there that they only pay 3%.
CajunCandy
That is a four letter word, at least for me it is. It would have to be a large account for me to give commission. For me no more than 5%.
mission vending
A little more then half of our accounts are no commission, a bunch at 10%, one at 12%, a few at 15% and one on a sliding scale that can and has hit 30% when they go over 30k in sales for the month. jerry1973
If an account insists on commission, I really like the sliding scale approach. I am starting to use that and usually suggest zero commissions until a certain dollar amount in sales is met, seems to be the most fair system (if you must deal with commissions), but unless they are a big dog account I would never go above 10%
