executivevending
I have a coinco that wont accept any change. Nothing was jammed. Accepts dollars and give back correct change. Tested each one and it will still dispense any of them if i click the test buttons but wont accept any coins. Anyone know what's wrong?

AZVendor
Yes, this means the coin mech has lost its tuning or there is an electronic problem. If you are going to swap the acceptor you need to swap for the same model of acceptor, but if the problem is in the main board in the coin mech you will need to change the coin mech. Send me a PM if you need an exchange unit for this.
Walta
Is the red LED behind the flight deck lit? You need to be very careful when swapping CoinCo parts. There are 2 deferent system Pro models and the older non Pro models. The parts look much the same with the exception of a few stickers that sometimes get removed over time. Note Only CoinCo can tune pro model units but tuning is rarely required. Walta

Walta Normally you'd swap out the whole unit - I'm not sure if you could just get the head part
Walta
The acceptor head is shot. Swap it out I agree that it is better to change the coin mech as 1 unit. But some have been known to swap flight decks. Moondog your post could have been that way. Walta
