AngryChris
I have a coinco ba30L if I remember correctly. I believe the L just means it has a special mask. I'm trying to see if I can directly replace a ba30b with it. Thanks!
AZVendor
If both units are 110v and you aren't using MDB then if the new validator won't fit in the door due to interference then you can install the mask from the L model so the B model will fit. If you are using MDB then make sure your B model has the MDB pinout on it. Early models did not have MDB in them.
AngryChris
The ba30l is in an MDB machine. I will be transferring it to a royal 552. I wasn't sure if the L had some sort of weird thing about it. The mask looks like a bill pro mask. Hopefully this will work and I will put a spare MDB validator in the other machine. In fact, I couldn't even find information about this version with any web search. I can't even find it on ebay.
