dunkin
Hello everyone! A friend of mine has a 501E. One of the narrow columns is missing the "anti-cheat" tab. Will this affect the operation? As far as I can tell this prevents someone from getting to the next item to vend after the front item has vended. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks David for reference (thanks mojorhino):
AngryChris
If it's the thin metal piece that you are referring to, then it will generally not effect the operation AS LONG AS your machine is not tipped or does not lean forward. Those tabs simply prevent cans from sliding forward into the next column which has already vended. Without the tab, you can technically tip the machine and a can may slide out for free, while the next customer will get ripped off. Again, as long as no one tips it, you won't have a problem. Feral Vending Mechanic
And anyone dumb enough to try to tip a pop machine for free product deserves to have the machine fall on them.

rmorris1953
That tab can get bent back and hold the can up in cup causing it to jam. If they are bent either remove them or straighten them out. Also make sure you have a anti tip sticker on machine to protect you from law suits incase someone is stupid enough to try and tip one. dunkin
Loaded the machine with no problems. Thank you everyone for the replies. I have another issue that I am going to start a new thread for!
