I made signs that I laminated and fit to the inside of the money part.  So, the top is covered and the sides.  The back is open.  You can still see in there but its not so full blown open.

 

When I started this I always thought about when the box was empty and sitting there on the counter with al that money visible.   So, from Day one I have the boxes all done up this way. 

The signs look really nice and professional (made in photoshop).....charity logo on there, my phone number, etc.

 

I would put your number on there in case the owner of the buisness needs to call.  I've had calls that it was empty, come fill it up.  To come pick it up, we don't have the room anymore to a business that closed and left the box behind on the counter.  The property manager called.  If the number wasnt on there, that box would have been history.    About $15 in there too.
