It always seems to get jammed on a old dollar bill not the new ones. Can I just replace a certain part on the machine or do I have to buy a whole new bill acceptor? Or could I maybe get it repaired?? CajunCandy Posted September 2, 2015 Share Posted September 2, 2015 Make of bill acceptor always helps in determining problem with it. Normally when a dba starts jamming it need to be replaced. Many bill validators have sensitivity settings on them (we don't know which one you have) but I like to keep my sensitivity setting high to reject those paper thin bills that can jam up even a good validator.
