nabooth455
I have an old Dixie Narco 300 that I picked up as a parts machine. I then decided to see if I could get it running as the previous person stated it worked well and then it started freezing the pops that were inside. Here is what I have figured out so far. If I plug in the main power cord the fan behind the condenser will turn on but the compressor will not. However, the compressor will turn on and the condenser will get cold if it is plugged in directly, but the fan behind the condenser will not turn on. I have a couple ideas of what to check next, but thought I would hit you guys up to get your ideas as well since I won't have time to work on it for a few days. cvending
It sounds like the thermostat may be turned off. It should not be set more than 1/4 turn from the off position.
AZVendor
It has to be set to 3 1/2 on a dial from the zero position unless it's a USI machine which is set no higher than 2 to avoid freezing products.
