Tokens / Coupons vs. Cash

I have a potential client that wants their customers to receive free drinks, but have their employees pay full price.

The client asked if they can purchase tokens or coupons from me, for the full price amount, and hand them out to their customers so that they can receive complimentary drinks.

Are there certain coin mechs or Bill validators that do this? Are tokens and coupons the best way to handle this situation?

I would say that a prepaid dummy card is easier. Then you just take the statistics from the backoffice interface you use and generate an invoice to your client without having to hassle the tokens - picking them out from the moneybox, delivering them out, buy them, etc...
