Willow Valley Vending
I have been asked by a location to physically securing some soda machines to the wall. There is some fear that they could tip, its more of a CYA issue. My question: What is the best practice? It is sitting next to a masonry wall. I was thinking a metal "L' bracket on the top. Thanks for the suggestions , Jonathan
AngryChris
I have seen L brackets used. Just don't go straight through the cabinet and create an air leak. Whatever you do, make sure you can take it back off later and make sure there's enough air flow behind the machine as to not kill the compressor prematurely. You could probably build some sort of a shelf directly above the machine too... although the machine could be moved, it couldn't feasibly be tipped if something is directly above it. AZVendor
Use 2-3 heavy angle brackets with 1-1.25" self-tapping screws into the top of the cabinet and then use Tempcon or preferably Redheads into the block walls. Redheads have to be cut off when removing the brackets and Tempcons will just unscrew.
