Sgolembiewski0903
I know from experience that bad ballasts can cause problems with machines... SO my question for you guys, if I have a machine where lighting doesn't matter, would it benefit me to unplug the ballast so as to prevent any problems that might occur from a bad ballast/bulb? AngryChris
If the ballast is bad, you will do absolutely no harm by unplugging it. It's a good idea to be honest, but that is because you don't need lighting. It would also be beneficial to buy an LED bulb that bypasses the ballast but not necessary here. Just make a note somewhere where you would see it should you ever try to put a bulb in later.
AZVendor
In my opinion it's foolish to not light your machines. It makes the machine look more presentable and professional. Just because the location doesn't care doesn't mean you should avoid the opportunity to attract more customers to your attractive machine. I never left a machine unlit.
