I am not seeing the end result either. The logic is flawed. You do make more per case but that is an apples and oranges comparison. If you load 1080 gumball of 850 (which would be just over a case and a quarter) you will make more money on a bigger gum.

The case is irrelevant, take that out of the equation.

(850 count) 1080 pieces x.024= $25.92 cost, sell for .25 each= $270 gross.  $270-$25.92= $244.08 profit

(1080 count) 1080 pieces x .026= 28.08 cost, sell for .25 each= $270 gross. $270-$28.08= $241.92 profit

You are costing yourself over a couple dollars for selling the same amount of smaller gum.

The 1080 is a bigger count, and yes you will make more, and true you can fill the same amount and sell more, but in long run, the smaller they are the harder they will be, now I know it's 1mm, but that does make a difference to some people, and thinking you'll make more of the 1080,in reality, you're paying more and making more, if the 850 pack was a 1080 , then if be making $50 more, the boxes are only 3/4 full anyways, they should add the 200 pieces to it, but at the $21 per box, I'm not complaining.

Truth is, if you want to have recurring customers you need to give them a good amount, even if the machine is producing, that just means it can produce more, if using a beaver, expand the beaver, they do have expansion kits, and if using aa or nw, get the 12lb globe, this way you're making more, and filling less.
