mateo107 Posted June 27, 2019 Share Posted June 27, 2019 Hello, I have a DN501E that's got 9 columns, 8 narrow and the one wide one. It was originally setup for bottles but the person before me converted it to cans. However, in transit or perhaps before I even got it, I believe the wide column shims were either removed or never put in properly. I know I need shims, and I have 4 plastic shims, however, I'm having the darnedest time trying to figure out if they're the right ones and/or how to exactly place them. I can't seem to find any videos on YouTube or instructions in manuals/etc... Attached are photos of the four shims I have, as well as the wide-column and the cam setting/setup. Can anyone help this guy who needs to reclaim his wide-column for the best selling soda!? Thanks all in advance. If you can get the 20 oz water from Sam's club (various names), those are a bit firmer and vend better. They are not the ones with a sports cap. Your issues could be wrong shims, soft water, or a combination of the two. Sadly, paying much more for hard plastic water bottles is part of the business.
