Ok your problem is different.

I noticed mine had a hard time when doing a motor count to get to 18. (12 main snack and 6 slave soda) it would always count 12 but had to be done over and over to get to 18. Sometimes it would report 14 or 17 or 12. I’d have to keep pushing 2 in service mode until it finally counted 18. This was all done yesterday.

today I noticed that it would count a solid 18 motors every time when I had the board configured to type two (2-wire) switch to type 3 (3 wire, which I have) and it would do it’s guessing game of motors.

so- I set it to 2 wire, did a motor count, saved, and before fully exiting service mode I change it to type-3. Pound to save and start star star. Working good.

Not that that will help you much with two wire motors but for anyone else who has a similar problem. Maybe this will help.
