Holes in soda cans

I have a written 3589 great combo machine but the spirals punch holes in a few you soda cans. Has anyone ran into this problem before or know a way to fix it. Also I already put caps on all the ends of the spirals.

It sounds more like something is puncturing them when they fall in the delivery bin. Have you see the spirals do this?

Are you sure it's the spirals

It’s got to be the spirals the cans are dented and the landing zone there’s no metal or anything that could puncture the cans. But it doesn’t happen to every can.

You might be using the wrong size spirals.

I've never seen this happen which is why I don't think it's the spiral, unless the cans are in so tight that they are getting cut, but they would spray on the way out of the tray if that were the case.  You shouldn't be using spirals narrower than about 6-count

Thanks I loosen the spirals to the biggest size hopefully that works

What do you mean "loosened the spirals to the biggest size?"  You stretched them out?  That will extend them beyond the shelf which would cause the cans to have the spiral tip rub the can as it drops.  Product pusher or not, you could still have problems.
