Newbie looking at Vending Technology

Hi Guys, 

 

New to the world and technology of vending....I am looking at converting a standard Sauna machine to Vending machine so the customer can use it anytime they want as these are going to be installed in the Gym and Pilates studio....Customer will have a FOB that they will scan at the reader and based on their membership tier they will either get free access or will have to pay.

Unless the machine is already a vending machine or is already working on prepaid cards or some such method, this will be a waste of time.

You'll need a way to use the credit from the reader to engage a relay or some other driver to pass the power to the unit. Then you'll need a way (timer?) to turn it back off and reenable your payment device to take another payment and start again.  It works on message chairs I see at airports and such, can't imagine why it wouldn't work on this idea.
