Disabling National 431 Health Sensor

Good Afternoon,

 

As the title states, I'm wondering if it's possible to disable the health sensor on a national 431 so that you would be able to vend non-perishables without using refrigeration.  The manual did not make any mention of how to do it.

To my knowledge, the health/safety timer cannot be disabled in the NV431.

I've read in a FB post that someone has done it before but they're keeping it a secret!

Where there's a will (and some technical aptitude), there is always a way.  I would ask why you'd prefer to use the NV431 over a standard snack machine that has no health sensor.

Attempting to sell rolled-up towels, Looks like I could do 54 towels in a national 431, I've seen it done with blankets too.

I would be open to suggestions on a different vendor if you didn't mind sharing.

They're also very low-cost machines in the used market.

Rolled up towels might vend from a stack vendor or a regular snack. Food machines (especially carousel) are generally pretty pricey, have less capacity and require more service than standard snack and drink machines. I don't know your packaging but it's probably worth testing the options.

No, you can't disable the health control in that machine.  You could in a Rowe 448 food though.
