whitephang
Good evening everyone! Total noobie here. I came across a machine for next to nothing and wanted to see if I can get it to work correctly. It fires up and everything looks ok good condition, however it's got a few errors, when in normal mode it flashes H2 sold out H3, and in service mode it just displays that I don't have a cooling system hooked up (which I dont). AZVendor
Go into the service mode and select letter B on the keypad which is the refrigeration option. After it displays, press B again and that should disable the option. Fat fingering through the programming will cause all kinds of issues. Here is the manual for it: https://www.vendmedic.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/4209514c.pdf
whitephang
Good morning, I did seem to clear the code however I'm still getting and saying h 2 and 3 are sold out which is strange because machine doesn't have a h section
AZVendor
Do the same action in service mode for key D which will display the Cann option which you want turned off. This machine must have been connected to a slave can module in the past.
whitephang
It doesn't appear like the front buttons are working properly, nothing happens when I push buttons on the front in service mode. Can the keypad be bad? Is it replaceable?
AZVendor
If the keypad doesn't respond at all in service or vend mode then it could be a bad keypad or logic board. The keypad is cheapest to replace.
Vendo Mike
If you have a multiimeter you can set it to continuity and probe the connector where the 2 lines for a particular button would meet. When you press the button, you meter should squeak indicating a connection. Most membrane keypads are pretty easy to look through to follow those traces. This would help you diagnose whether it's the keypad or board. That said, an extra keypad in your parts stock would be a good addition.
