KeithM
I am hoping someone can help me. Our company has a vending machine that we own. It is a Wittern CB500 GVC2. When I power it up the lights come on, but the reading on the board will not go past the board version. I am thinking the board has gone out, but I would like some feedback to help confirm my thoughts on this. Also, if it is the board, where can I get one. Thanks for the feedback. cvending
Keith, I would first check all the connections to the board. Power off machine and remove and reconnect all harnesses o the board. Also disconnect you bill validator and coin mech. Then poe=wer up again. If the machine seems normal, power down and add the bill validator back into the loop. If still good, power down and add the coin mech basck in. One of those MAY be the issue. If none of this helps, call VENDNET USA and they can sell you the correct board. 800-833-4411
KeithM
Thank you very much for the help. We use this unit for "free" vending for our employees, so we really don't need the other components. I will respond on here and let you know what happens. Again, Thank You.
AZVendor
Yes, it's likely a peripheral component that is causing the lock up. Since this happens on boot-up that's where I would look first. If it still happens with no coin mech or validator connected then it's a bad board. USI can repair it for you and luckily it's a GVC2 board because they don't repair or sell the GVC1 board any longer.

I wonder if anyone else repairs them or if I should start business doing it. to the OP, try replacing the 2032 on the board as well. Make sure all connections are tight, and try a motor count.
