Vending by WC Posted March 27 Share Posted March 27 I need to replace my Coinco BA30B validator with something that will be compatible with my Vendo Univendor drink machine. Most advice says to replace with an MEI validator with MARS harness. However, does it matter which specific MEI validator? How can I know whether it will be compatible with my machine? Vendo Mike Posted March 27 Share Posted March 27 The 511 has an available mbd port. If you have or can source the harness for this, you’d be able to use a VN2512 and an mdb mech. This would put you in position to add a card reader down the road if needs be. Please know that it’s likely that a card reader will not report some sales if a reader is installed.
