I told him heshould be sure to really research whatever he decides to do. The only sad thin about Vendstar going out of business would be the lack of abundant machines available to resell on Ebay. "Going through some changes" I think is key here. That may be an indication of some serious financial problems.s This may be one of their sales people who only knows what management is telling them. "Sorry we had to lay off half the company... we're 'going through some changes'... we'll be fine in 2 weeks." No company wants to admit when they're going down in a ball of flames, until the doors are shuttered. But his words sound pretty suspect to me. No one does it better in terms of... - Taking advantage of naive vending noobs with large package deals - Grossly overcharging $300 for an ugly plastic piece of junk - Pushing the noobs down the candy path when gumballs and toys are the real way to go - Gouging for parts and refusing to sell them to non-customers The list goes on and on.
