When purchasing a route (it wasn't a selection) I say 24 months MAX ROI. This is the absolute MAX. And that is if it has proven records/income/tax returns for several years. In other words, not just newly placed withing the last 1-2 years...

 

And it better come with lots of extra inventory/unplaced equipment.

I would say  less than 10 months. Thats what I would expect to be in a new non route machine. 10 months. It makes no sense to purchase a route that has a ROI of 24 if you can buy new and place them urselve and have  a ROI of 10 months.

Varies route to route, if the route has potential beyond what it currently constitutes it may be worth a little longer ROI (based on current valuation) with the intent to optimize for more rapid return. For a well established or less flexible route I offer based on a 9 month ROI.
