Candy Kevin Posted July 17, 2015 Share Posted July 17, 2015 I was given 12 vendstar 3000 that need a lot of TLC on them. (They were sitting in the guys garage for over 5 years.) I was was washing them and wondered what you use to get old sticker residue off of them. I'm afraid to scrape it with a knife because of the plastic. Any advice? PerformaVending Posted July 17, 2015 Share Posted July 17, 2015 Goo Gone is a good one. Straight rubbing alcohol will work on some of them too. If you get one on there really good, look for "sealant remover"- it comes in bottles not too far from the Goo Gone at most hardware stores. That will clean up pretty much anything- just do NOT use it inside the canisters, or the chutes, as it's one of those chemicals you wouldn't want to ingest in any amount. Get yourself some of any of the above, a good scraper, and a hair dryer, and you can conquer any sticker. Good luck sir! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ReillyNoFun Posted September 21, 2015 Share Posted September 21, 2015 Sometimes you can use a sticker to remove sticker residue. occasionally people will stick stickers from my flat machines to the machine itself (why waste your loonie I dont know), I peel them off and then tap the sticker on the leftovers a bunch of times and the adhesive sticks to itself and lifts off. Works better for vinyl stickers where only the adhesive is left, not so well for torn up paper stickers. If that fails then goo gone. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
