Conallvending
I have a National 147 that has a slot that comes up as "not available". All connections seem to be in place properly. Any ideas
Walta
Is the price set for that selection? will the motor turn in test mode? Walt
AngryChris
I have a National 147 that has a slot that comes up as "not available". All connections seem to be in place properly. Any ideas Try a test vend. Many nationals give fits for some reason and you need to test vend the motor to make things work again. The motor could be bad or the wiring could be disconnected for some reason too.
AZVendor
The motor could be bad or you have lost good connections where the rear of the shelf contacts the cabinet connector. National had a poor design for the shelf connectors on this and the 157 machines. You might need to pull with just a little pressure on each finger behind the shelf so there will be better contact. rmorris1953
Make sure the shelf retainers on both sides of the shelf are working and not broken. If either side is broken it won't let the shelf make good contact. If they are good swap shelfs with another one and see if problem follows the shelf. While you have the shelf out check wiring on the motors. If problem follows the shelf as a last resort try turn the coil by hand and then press your service switch and see if the motor will home. If it won't home then most likely the motor is bad.
BBVendors
Check the individual shelf harness too. They are notorious for breaking.
