caserri
With spring just around the corner, its time we start "thinking" about our annual cookout. This will be the 5th year we've "thought" about getting together. I can almost taste the ribs now. Sent from my Android using Tapatalk.
Shauna
Mmmmm, I make mean pork chops. Thinking about it now...
caserri
I don't see why we can't get this done. I'm willing to explore some outdoor locations and get some estimates for catering. We've got some great suppliers on the forum too. Maybe we can entice them to come make some presentations as well. Off the top of my head are All-star, TNT and VSI. I know A&A is also on the forum too. Although they'll never admit it. This could be a fun annual event if we could ever get past the "thinking" about it stage. Sent from my Android using Tapatalk. Shauna
I think it would be awesome to put faces to names. And a community get together where we all kind of know each other already would be fun.

If so, the menu will be your choice of... bbq chicken Smoked Ribs Pork chops Each meal will come with two sides, biscuits, salad, chips, and beverages. That's the menu for Massachusetts. Lets hear the menus for the other suggestions. Sent from my Android using Tapatalk.

Leetvend
Yea. Bandana's BBQ. No way! Bandannas is good and all but it is way better to cook it yourself and get the meat from a local butcher.

treadmill
who the hell goes to masachusettes for bbq lol good bbq comes from one place...THE SOUTH All it takes is someone who can cook brisket properly. It can be cooked anywhere. St. Louis would be a centralized location. Roughly equal distance from both the left and right coast.

sherlock
Well if you really must have it at the true central point of the United States, I guess we are all going to Lebanon, KS. It's the true geographic center according to a study done a long time ago. Problem with Lebanon, KS is that it's not only the middle of the country, it's in the middle of nowhere! Shauna
If y'all came to Tennessee, we could have the following menu: Brisket Spare Ribs Beef Ribs Pork Ribs Pork Chops Deer Greens Roasted Pig BBQ Chicken Fried Bologna Fried Cabbage Jalepeno Poppers Mmmmm. My husband and his friends get together a couple times a year and do massive weekend-long cookouts.
