Pop chips

It is an insurance call center with 75 employees.  The current vendor comes in once a week.  We are replacing them because they want to provide healthier snack alternatives to their staff.  Also, the current machines take the money and the employees have to wait for the current vendor to come in to refund them.  Our vend prices on this chip would be $1.25.

Might be a decent account but dont put to much faith in them actually buying the "healthy" items. Also good luck getting $1.25 for a bag of chips.

Most people want to know they have healthier options but they'll buy the same unhealthy snacks

I agree. They will buy the Doritos and Cheetos until they run out then buy the healthy crap.

The healthier items are getting better; manufacturers are having to make products to meet school nutrition standards that the students will actuall buy.... Popcorners is a good items in that category (someone else posted a link).  For a new small vendor, you are stuck with depending on Sam's for the bulk of your products unless you are close to a good cash and carry wholesale like Vistar.  I managed to do a small buying co-op for a while with some other small vendors to make up the minimum order requirements for delivery...
