vender4321
Hi -- Does anyone know of a long island, NY area based service place that I can have a bunch of coin and bill mechs serviced. Not sure which work properly and which do not. Thanks.

I am in South Central Louisiana and have 3 repair services available to pick up and deliver to me. I would imagine your choices should be the same if not better. Work the network, join your state vending association and they will find you.
vendman0729
I use Geekay Sales who are located in Massachusetts. Their much closer to you than I am and I still use them. I buy my refurb coin mechs and bill validators from them. You can also ship them your stuff and they can repair/refurb them. I live in N.C so I have to pay for shipping but their prices are some of the best. They also provide good customer service.
Vendors Tech
No need find someone local for val and mech repair per se. It's a fairly specialized process if you're someone who does it right. Oftentimes, you aren't going to find someone local who is going to do anything more than replace belts and wipe the outside with Windex. That's not what you want. A large majority of vending/gaming/CarWash outfits or all over the country do not have that kind of refurb work done locally.
