JJVend Posted September 15, 2017 Share Posted September 15, 2017 I got a call about abc not responding when pushed, I went over opened the door it works while it's open, it doesn't while it's closed 🙄 Are the wires to the board getting stretched? I had a similar problem with a VS 99 series 2 but it affected the Motors only not the buttons so I'm stumped Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

AZVendor Posted September 15, 2017 Share Posted September 15, 2017 If the keypad works in the service mode with the door open and then those selections aren't recognized when the door is closed then the keypad is fine.  On LCMs you need to go in and out of the service mode on the logic board 3 times to ensure the board sees those shelves before you close the door.  I learned many, many years ago that this step is needed to ensure all selections are enabled before closing the door.  I taught it to all my drivers since we had so many LCMs out on our routes.
