Sgolembiewski0903
I turned off my BC10, unpkugged it, plugged in a sutge proteector, plugged machine back in. Now the machine is saying "pick another selection" for all selections. Also, the light for the bill acceptor is not coming on, although it does cycle when you turn the machine on. It says OPT4 when going into service mode, followed by a 0 for 0(/10) selections working

Sgolembiewski0903
Ahh, now because of this it is double vending and then saying to make another selection
savend
I had something similar once. I finally in desperation just told it to test vend all (I think that was the option) & it finally started working right. It’s like it needed to run through its paces. I’m wondering if it has a backup battery that has gone out.
Anacapa Vending
Problems like that is why we try and avoid USI machines.
Sgolembiewski0903
I got real lucky. On my last effort I google searched the manual, found one item on page 9 that sounded like it MIGHT help, did it, and it worked! A couple tests in and it still worked... Hoping it lasts.. AZVendor
Be smart and have a manual for every model of machine you have. Print them or at least download them to your computer or phone. They are an invaluable tool for any vendor. And NO SURGE PROTECTORS ON SODA MACHINES. They will give you false trips because the compressor pulls so much current at startup.
