Kingpacks
I have a machine D3 is not working and the C tray is randomly turning. I check the wire harness on D-tray for a break (no break) and replace the tray board (no success) . I also checked all the other trays for broken wires and nothing was broke, I even checked motors as well.. what do you think this could be? fhamann
I had a similar problem once in a Crane National 148. A certain motor was not working. I took out the tray and checked the cable and contacts at the back of the tray, I swapped motors to see if the problem followed the motor (it didn't). Then I turned the power off, then back on, and the problem went away.
lacanteen
Harness, motor, or rail board. Move the tray into another position and press the door switch. If the problem moves with the tray the problem is on the tray.
fhamann
Also, do a "motor test". That will sometimes reset the motor and fix the problem.
Kingpacks
This is what I found - after trouble shooting the machine. Swapping trays, testing rail boards, replacing a motor, check all the trays for harnesses for a break it was the interface board. Thanks to all with your feedback..
