Bill validator -- Motor works but will not pull bills in

I have a VN 2501 U3, that is not pulling bills all the way in. It tries, but is unable to pull it all the way.

Is there a quick fix for this? I tried cleaning the belts.

Pretty much any time I can't fix a validator by cleaning sensors or checking for any obvious obstruction in the belts, I send it off for repair.

Where do you send off coin mechs and bill validators? I have shelves full of them.

I have a guy that comes by from vendors exchange but that's where I would ship them to.  I believe shipping is free if you send 10 or more.  You can call them about it.

There are several repair shops for coinage. Chris mentioned VE already.   Changer Svcs is in St Paul, MN area, Vendtronics is in Phoenix, Wachtor is in Salt Lake, , Smitty's is in Portland.  There are more out there.  Just ask the google
