kyle0050
I have an AMS snack machine that keeps throwing up sensit it blocked when I open up the door. I tried to clean the lens with a wet alcohol wipe but still throwing the error up. Is it safe to say the sensors are dead and I need to buy new ones or try to do a better job cleaning the lens. I didn't pull them out last time but just did a surface level wipe on the front of the plastic cover. The location is in a warehouse which can be pretty dusty
Gizmo Vending
There isn’t anything stuck in the delivery bin?
AZVendor
What version of Sensit do you have? Look in your manual for the calibration instructions for them.
Vendo Mike
Didn't the early ones have issue with condensation collecting on the reflector for that sensor or am I thinking of something else.
AZVendor
The Sensit 1s, only called Sensit at that time, were prone to light from outside the glass interfering with the sensors. A sensor calibration was about all you could do though some folks put a second piece of refractory plastic in. I don't know if the issue was totally resolved in S2 or S3 machines but I believe that was the primary reason for the new design.
kyle0050
Sensit3 is the model so it's not the Sensit1 if that comes into play at all
AZVendor
Might be a bad sensor or receptor then. You'll have to play with the alignment to figure it out. Do look for bright light on the front glass though as that could still cause issues.
