Great day of locating

Today, I decided to try to set up a route in a town about 45 miles away from home. I ended up locating 7 machines. 4 spirals, one at a nail salon, 2 in burrito shops, and one in a Mexican restaurant, a Shootin Hoops at a barber shop, and 2 1-800s. One in a check cashing/payday loan place, and one in a burrito shop. Looking forward to finding more machines.

That is a great day of locating!!! It's amazing how invigorating it is when you get a bunch out like that.

Awesome to hear it! Especially those spirals- those always seem to give me trouble.

good work, man.  mexican spots are great, and higher chance of landing than most others.  latinos are just easier to deal with.  vietemese are the easiest, they don't even care about commission, they're like saints, but your machine will likely bomb in the nail salon, at least mine all did.

not to change the topic, but this has got me thinking... we know nail salons are an easy hit but they blow. what about vietemese restaurants? can't say i've tried one.  anyone here ever had one that makes a decent amount of money? dealing with americans is annoying, ethnicity plays such a big role in locating .  i'm ready to just start dealing only with foreigners... same thing with women haha.

I had a Vietnamese restaurant many years ago when bulk vending was booming and it was a dud that I ended up pulling. That was my only experience  with them. Nail salons for the most part are duds, but once in awhile you get some that do really well. It all depends on the clientele. I'm surely not going to put a machine in a nail salon that has all rich white women.

I'm in several Vietnamese restaurants and grocery stores and most do very well. One grocery store in particular has two locations.....one is in my top 5 locations and the other is mediocre at best. Similar geographic demographics, foot traffic and both gumball machines are in prominent spots in the respective stores but one just does head and shoulders above the other. I have no clue why. As far as nail salons go I still locate in them. Like SSVEND said "Nail salons for the most part are duds, but once in awhile you get some that do really well.". I will always roll the dice because I know that the machine isn't making any money sitting in the warehouse.
